Built from the ground up in Woodland Hills

Pro Link Systems was founded in 1999 by Brian Shad with a straightforward mission: help small and midsize businesses in Southern California get more out of technology. At the time, most IT vendors were transactional — they sold you hardware, collected a check, and disappeared. Brian saw an opportunity to do things differently.

From a single office in Woodland Hills, Pro Link grew into a full-service managed IT and cybersecurity partner serving businesses across the greater Los Angeles area. What began as break-fix support has evolved into proactive, strategic IT management — because the problems businesses face today are fundamentally different from what they faced in 1999.

Ransomware didn't exist the way it does now. Remote work wasn't a default. AI wasn't reshaping job descriptions. Cloud wasn't the infrastructure backbone it is today. Pro Link has grown alongside these shifts — adapting our services, building new competencies, and staying ahead of what our clients need next.

Twenty-five years in, we're still independently owned, still headquartered in Woodland Hills, and still operating on the same principle: technology should move your business forward, not hold it back.

Founded in Woodland Hills

Brian Shad launches Pro Link Systems to provide IT support for small and midsize businesses in the San Fernando Valley.

Early 2000s

Expanded to Managed Services

Transitioned from break-fix to proactive managed IT, giving clients predictable monthly costs and better outcomes.

2010s

Cloud & Cybersecurity Practice

Built a full cloud practice around Microsoft 365 and Azure. Added cybersecurity as threats became more frequent and sophisticated.
